Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I update my individual
profile?
Individuals can update their record at their own convenience as often
as needed.
Can anyone else at my institution update
my information?
CIC gives the president access to update information for any individuals
at the institution. If your information has changed, it is possible that
your president (or another key institutional contact at the president's
request) has already updated your information.
I've changed or deleted important information
on my individual record. How do I recover this information?
Simply login again and re-enter the correct information, or contact CIC
at memberservices@cic.nche.edu
and we can help restore your original information.
I've forgotten my username and/or password,
or I'd like to change my password. What do I do?
Login information can be retrieved by using the Retrieve
Password link and your password can be changed using the Change
Password link. If you need further login help, use the Login
Help link.
Is submitting my information online a secure
transaction?
While most information submitted is publicly available information (such
as an individual's office phone number or office email address), our online
database system uses a secure connection with 128-bit encryption to ensure
that your information is safely transmitted and stored.
For questions or help, call (202) 466-7230 or email CIC at memberservices@cic.nche.edu.
