The workshop begins at 4:00 pm on Friday, March 23 and concludes at 4:00
pm on Sunday, March 25. Note: the Sunday sessions are at the Sheraton
Tacoma Hotel.

General information: The Sheraton Tacoma Hotel is centrally located in
downtown Tacoma, just 20 miles from the Seattle/Tacoma International Airport
and about 3 miles from the University of Puget Sound.

Ground Transportation
During the event, bus transportation will be provided on a limited
schedule between the Sheraton and the University of Puget Sound. Before
and after the event, participants are responsible for their own ground
transportation arrangements. In planning travel, please note that the
first day of the event is at the University of Puget Sound and the final
day of the event is at the Sheraton Tacoma.
Airport Transportation: Shuttles & Taxi Service
Shuttle Express and Capital Aeroporter both provide shuttle service to/from
Seattle Tacoma International Airport and the Sheraton and the University
of Puget Sound. There is a wide-range in pricing – variables include
shared-rides, private vehicles, the number of passengers and the destination.
Price quotes are available on the websites for each shuttle company. Reservations
strongly recommended. Depending on team size, taxi transportation may
be a more suitable option.

Directions to University of Puget Sound
The University of Puget Sound is located at 1500 North Warner in Tacoma,
Washington, approximately 30 miles south of Seattle and 15 miles north
of Olympia.
Driving to campus:
From I-5, take exit 133, Interstate 705 north, City Center exit. Exit
at Schuster Parkway. Continue for approximately one mile, and stay to
the left. Exit to the left (Schuster Parkway), and follow Schuster along
the water. Stay to the right and proceed approximately 1.5 miles. Exit
right onto North 30th. Continue through the traffic signal in Old Town
and up the hill.
To find McIntyre Hall & Wheelock Student Center:
From 30th Ave, turn left at North Alder. Continue approximately one mile.
The campus will be on your right. Parking is available by turning right
into the visitor parking area in front of Jones Hall off of 15th Street,
or in lots located at 14th Street (Wheelock Student Center) or 13th Street.
Campus parking:
Campus guests may park in lots marked “General Parking”.
Directions to the Sheraton Tacoma
From Northbound or Southbound Interstate 5: From I-5, take exit #133
onto highway 705. Stay in center lane and follow City Center signs until
you come to the 15th Ave/Pacific Ave exit. Go straight up hill 2 blocks
to Broadway. Turn right on Broadway. The Sheraton Tacoma Hotel is on the
left side.
