This workshop was organized by the Council of Independent Colleges, in cooperation with the Council on Library and Information Resources, and with funding from the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation and the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.

11:00 a.m. “Institutional Priorities: Where Do Libraries Fit?” – presented by Patricia Matthews, I.H.M., vice president for academic affairs, Marywood University

2:00 p.m. “Planning a Comprehensive Program in Information Literacy”- reports from break-out sessions – moderated by Susan Perry, former library director, Mt. Holyoke College, and current Andrew W. Mellon Foundation senior advisor
