Professors
of the Year
Since 1981, the U.S. Professors of the Year Awards have been the only
national honors designed to recognize excellence in undergraduate teaching
and mentoring. CIC continues to co-sponsor this program, conducted by
the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and the Council
for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). The goal of the Professors
of the Year program is to increase awareness of the importance of undergraduate
instruction at all types of higher education institutions.
For more information and nomination guidelines, visit the CASE
website and type in CASE code “POY.” Individuals may also
contact Cheryl Wesley, CASE senior communications program coordinator,
at wesley@case.org or (202) 478-5646.
