Report of the Advisory Committee on the Project Enhancing Black College Leadership

In 1988, in conjunction with the United Negro College Fund, CIC launched a major national initiative with two broad goals: to improve leadership at private historically black colleges and universities and to forge closer ties between private HBCUs and other private liberal arts colleges. This report recounts the history and analyzes the effectiveness of the project, includes case studies of interinstitutional exchanges, and suggests next steps for further project activity. 1988, 54 pgs.
